In order to use the Denmark Transfer Station a “Transfer Station Sticker” is required. The attendant has the right to refuse anyone without a sticker. Stickers can be obtained from the Clerk’s Office. Two stickers will be issued to each household free of charge, a fee of $10.oo will be charged for replacement stickers and limited to two replacement stickers in one calendar year.
The Denmark Transfer Station processes all general residential, commercial, and municipal waste products generated within the physical boundaries of the Town. Denmark Recycles using the “Single Sort” method, all recycling is trucked to EcoMaine where it is processed.
